  1. Soak the whole wheat overnight in water
  2. The next day, in a pressure cooker, cook the soaked wheat till it is cooked well
  3. Once it is cooled, blitz the wheat in a mixie
  4. In a pan, boil the milk and add the wheat to it
  5. Reduce the flame and let the milk mixture simmer till the milk thickens and gets smooth
  6. Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well
  7. In a separate pan, add some ghee, add broken cashews to it an let it brown
  8. Add the cashews to the kheer and either serve warm or cold
